Sunday will be arrival day. The scientific programme starts on Monday morning and ends on Thursday after lunch.

Stochastic geometry is widely used in a variety of fields, including astronomy, geology and telecommunications, but its application in diffusion MRI has so far remained limited. The focus of the workshop is to strengthen the connections between diffusion MRI and stochastic geometry. We believe that there is a great potential in enhancing the use of stochastic geometry tools in diffusion MRI, where different types of challenging random geometrical patterns are observed. We aim to bring together leading researchers from the two communities to discuss recent advances and connections between the fields. We expect that the communities will benefit from sharing problems, methodology and solution strategies, and it is the goal of this workshop to initiate new collaborations across the two fields.

The workshop will have longer keynote talks and shorter invited talks, as well as a poster session.
